CAP-PELÉ, N.-B., October 15th, 2021 — The business community of Cap-Pelé and Beaubassin-Est will have the opportunity to retain their local customers for the very first time in its history thanks to a new initiative. Citizens and people of the region who shop “locally” could be rewarded through the SOUTH ACADIE PASSPORT starting Monday, October 25th 2021
SOUTH ACADIE PASSPORT offers a creative way to shop locally while allowing consumers in the region to discover small businesses that are real gems in the Cap-Pelé/Beaubassin-Est region. Thanks to a passport available at participating businesses, consumers can complete their passport when purchasing in stores, restaurants or services that are members of the Cap-Pelé/Beaubassin-Est Chamber of Commerce.
Once fully filled, people can enter the weekly draw for a $50 gift card from one of the participating businesses and the final grand prize of $500 in cash to be drawn in December.
“We have never seen a large-scale project like this! The village of Cap-Pelé and the rural community of Beaubassin-Est will certainly benefit from higher traffic in the region’s and businesses,” says the president of the Cap-Pelé/Beaubassin-Est Chamber of Commerce, Christine Duguay.
The campaign is a creation of AUDACIA Communication and its owner and senior strategist, Anthony Azard. As a reminder, AUDACIA Communication has also been the provider of operations management services for the Cap-Pelé/Beaubassin-Est Chamber of Commerce since January 2021.
“This is a significant step in the development of the Cap-Pelé/Beaubassin-Est Chamber of Commerce. It was essential to develop an initiative unique to the region we serve. It was also one of the main strategies of our strategic planning that we will unveil under fear to the members,” says the owner and senior strategist of AUDACIA Communication, Anthony Azard.
This initiative is made possible through the Shop Local Funding Initiative, managed by the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce and funded by the Government of Canada.
