In October 2022, the Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce launched a study into the possibility of reviewing its membership rates. Last November, a research report was presented to the Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce team, then to the Board of Directors in March 2023.
In light of the report’s recommendations, the Board of Directors carried a resolution on May 25, 2023 wishing to recommend the new rates and scale to the organization’s members at the next Annual General Meeting.
Following the Annual General Meeting of the Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce on June 22, members voted unanimously for a complete refresh of the organization’s annual membership fees.
Starting June 26, new members of the Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce will pay the newly adopted fees. As of July 1, the new rates will be applied automatically for current members of the organization when you renew your membership, on the anniversary month of your registration with the Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce. You will then receive an automatic invoice by e-mail.
Several key factors explain the decision to increase and completely revise the annual rates offered to members:
