CAP-ACADIE, NB, April 28, 2025 — The Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate the Right Honourable Mark Carney on his election as Prime Minister of Canada, as well as Dominic LeBlanc on his re-election as Member of Parliament for the riding of Beauséjour.
The 2025 federal election took place in a complex geopolitical and economic context, marked by heightened trade tensions with the United States. Mr. Carney’s election, recognized for his economic experience, marks the beginning of a period of stability favourable to businesses and the business community across the country, including in Cap-Acadie.
The Chamber also welcomes the re-election of Mr. LeBlanc, whose experience and dedication to the region are invaluable. His role will continue to be crucial in defending the interests of the Beauséjour riding and promoting policies that support local economic development.
Anthony Azard, Chief Executive Officer of the Cap-Acadie Chamber of Commerce, says he is ready to work with the new Carney government and to continue the collaboration that has existed with Mr. LeBlanc for decades.
